Aswak Wa Zikrayat was a unique festival

and exhibition recreating the old souks of Lebanon from June 13 to 21, 1998. During this show, one could rediscover the old merchant streets of Beirut where the magical environment of the souks has been revived with all its components:
flea Market, artisans, painters, furniture, carpets, lighting, bookstores, musicsellers, foods of all sorts and even shoe shine, fortune tellers, fountains and lottery.
